Chesterfield & Bolsover

From historic houses to boat trips on the canal, there's lots to do in Chesterfield and the Peak District's Historic Border Country.
Chesterfield is famous for the Crooked Spire of the Church of St Mary and All Saints, which leans 9 feet 5 inches from its true centre.

Chesterfield has one of the largest traditional open air markets in the country dating from at least 1165. This is held every Monday, Friday and Saturday all year round, plus a Thursday Flea Market that gets bigger every year. New additions to the market programme include the Farmers' Market on the second Thursday of every month, continental markets and arts and crafts markets.
