Welcome to Chesterfield Coach Station
Chesterfield is famous for the ‘Crooked Spire' of the Church of St Mary and All Saints, which ‘leans' 9 feet 5 inches from its true centre and stands on the skyline like a question mark - how did it happen?
Chesterfield's other claim to fame is its traditional open air market, one of the largest in the country. Markets are held every Monday, Friday and Saturday all year round, with a Flea Market every Thursday and Farmers Markets on the second Thursday and last Sunday of every month.
Why not stay and explore the area. Find historic houses like Chatsworth, Hardwick Hall and Bolsover Castle, take a boat trip on the Chesterfield Canal, visit Renishaw Hall's beautiful gardens or discover a stunning view in the Peak District. We have lots of accommodation to choose from, plus places to eat, events and interesting shops. Just browse these pages to find out more.
